About Bailey Joyce
Bailey is from Paducah, Kentucky, and is a 2024 graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Bailey has a BFA in illustration with a minor in drawing. She is interested in illustration, as well as painting, drawing, and forensic art.

Her current artistic projects and goals are to illustrate an educational children's book, develop her artistic voice, and get certified in composite drawing.

Bailey finds most of her inspiration from her hobbies, which include reading, traveling, hiking, learning about art history, spending time with her dog, and working in her sketchbook while listening to true crime podcasts. (These hobbies likely contribute to the weird, whimsical, and sometimes macabre nature of her work.)

Bailey finds satisfaction in both traditional and digital media. She enjoys combining materials like acryla gouache and colored pencil for colorful illustrations, drawing in ink for detailed pieces, and utilizing digital programs to both enhance traditional work and create new work.
